Fundraising events supporting Ukraine and children in need

The International Women’s Club of Bratislava and +421 Foundation New York are joining forces for two special fundraisers over the weekend of the 25 - 26 March 2022. The events aim to raise vital funds for two entities in need of support - Clovek v Ohrozeni - helping people affected by the current situation in Ukraine, and the Nezabudka civic association - helping children and young people with special needs.

Join us to experience spinto soprano Julia Radosz accompanied by maestro Robert Pechanec on the piano, presenting an opera recital including Strauss' Vier letzte Lieder and Operatic Arias.

The IWCB and +421 Foundation felt compelled to arrange the event in light of the events taking place in Ukraine. We believe that Clovek v Ohrozeni does outstanding work in terms of meeting the surging humanitarian needs as the crisis in Ukraine escalates.

Family Fun Run

The concert will be followed by The Family Fun Run for Nezabudka civic association, on Saturday 26 March, 2022 at 11:00 at Zelezna Studnicka, Bratislava.

Nezabudka is in dire need of refurbishing its outdoor learning facility, an integral part in helping children feel safe and secure when delivering essential therapy sessions.

The Family Fun Run aims to raise money for the refurbishment through voluntary donations at the event.

Participants can run, walk, moonwalk, skip and hop (as long as they have fun!) along a 6km route through the forest of Zelezna Studnicka. So, lace up your running shoes and let’s help together!
